Edward B. Eno, a lifelong Lowell resident, beloved husband of Eileen M. (Welch) Eno, died peacefully, July 9, 2009, following a battle with cancer. He was 62.
Born in Lowell on February 25, 1947, he was a son of the late Joseph Bertrand Eno and Imelda (Bourgeois)(Eno) Garvin and her husband, James of Palmetto, FL.
Ed was enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1966 until 1970 during the Vietnam War earning the rank of Sergeant.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Lowell.
For many years, he had been employed as an electrical engineer by Iris Graphics of Billerica and most recently by MKS of Wilmington. He was a dedicated and hard worker and would rarely, until his illness, take time off from work.
In his younger days, Ed could be found enjoying the outdoors and skiing. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.
Surviving him besides his wife and mother are two step children and their spouses, Thomas and Anne Wall of Andover, Jennifa Wall and Yon Roen of Lowell; two sons, Ryan and Eric Eno; a daughter, Kristine Eno; three grandchildren, Talia, Chantel and Sion Roen; a brother, David Eno of Dracut; a sister, Michelle Lambros of Dracut; many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. He was a brother of the late Matthew Eno and a brother-in-law of the late Nickolas Lambros.
