Edward R. Callery

DRACUT - Edward R. Callery, 69, died suddenly July 19, 2010 while vacationing at his summer home on Cobbett's Pond in Windham NH. He was the beloved husband of Nancyjean (Ward) Callery to whom he was married for 49 years.

Born in Lowell on June 29, 1941, he was a son of the late James Joseph Callery who died in World War II and the late Dorothy (Gentile) (Callery) Byrne and Edward S. Byrne of Chelmsford who survives him. He attended Lowell schools and was a 1959 graduate of Lowell High School.

Eddie was in the printing business for many years as an owner/operator of JJJET Reproduction in Reading. After his retirement, Eddie worked at the Lowell Police Station.

His favorite place was his summer home on Cobbett's Pond, Windham NH, where he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and was a member of The Pine Terrace Association. He was also an active member of The East End Club of Lowell where he had many friends.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a daughter, Jonna M. Clermont and her husband Ron of Pepperell ; a son, E. Christopher Callery and his wife Laurie (Jean) of Hudson NH; four grandchildren that were the light of his life, Cameron and Connor Clermont and Katherine and Olivia Callery.

He is also survived by two brothers, James T. Callery and his wife Agnes of Dracut and Michael E. Byrne and his wife Ruth of Chelmsford, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
