Edna P. (Hann) McNamara

Edna P. (Hann) McNamara, 83, a longtime Lowell resident passed away Tuesday January 20, 2015 following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Donald J. McNamara.

Born in Athol, MA on February 21, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John J. Hann and Rosella (Woods) Hann.

For many years in her youth, Edna was an avid bowler and golfer. She enjoyed seasonal camping in many campgrounds all over Southern New Hampshire. Edna loved to read, many different genres, including horror and mystery. She also looked forward to watching her favorite television programs particularly Jeopardy and The Walking Dead.

Edna is survived by her two sons, Daniel J. McNamara and his fiancee, Gayle Camara of Lowell and Michael J. McNamara of Lowell; four grandchildren, Logan, Seth, Cody and Cayla; and a sister-in-law Agnes Pierce of MA.
