Edmond A. Eddie Gendron

Edmond A. Eddie Gendron, 88, a Lowell resident, formerly a longtime North Chelmsford resident, died unexpectedly Wednesday September 8, 2010 at his Lowell residence. He was the beloved husband for the past 45 years of Theresa M. (Surprenant) Gendron and husband of the late Virginia (Arsenault) Gendron.
Born in Lowell on January 21, 1922, he was a son of Amedee and Aurore (Vigeant) Gendron.
Eddie was a former communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford.
For 21 years, Eddie worked at Pomerleau Bros. in Westford. He was then employed by J.J. Cronin and Heffron Materials of Westford until his retirement.
He was always devoted to his job and was a very hard worker. He would very seldom take a day out of work.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Edmond A. Gendron, Jr. and his spouse, Jean of Florida, Richard Gendron and his spouse, Dawn of Hudson, NH; three step children, Susan Foss and her spouse, Charles of Wolfeboro, NH, Roger Hall and his spouse, Linda of New Ipswich, NH, Michael Hall and his spouse, Jenne Gozzo of Lowell; a brother, Hector Gendron of Nashua, NH; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Mary Ann Fortner and brother of the late Irene Roy and Theresa Boudreau.
