E. Joyce (Clough) (Benoit) Arcand

LOWELL - E. Joyce (Clough) (Benoit) Arcand, 86, a longtime resident of Lowell died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Willow Manor in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late W. Paul R. Arcand, Jr. .

She was born in Keene, NH on January 6, 1931, and was a daughter of the late Harry S. and Irene (Willett) Clough. She received her education in Keene schools and was a graduate of Keene High School.

Prior to her retirement, Joyce was employed for many years by Wang Labs in Tewksbury.

Two of Joyce's passions and talents were gardening and decorating for the holidays. People would often stop by to admire her gardens and decorations and take pictures of them. She was also very talented at crocheting and baking and she enjoyed doing crafts and country music.

She is survived by three sons, Dwayne Benoit of Lowell, Dana Benoit and his wife Mary Lou of Hudson, NH, and Brian Benoit of N. Chelmsford; two step sons, Christopher Arcand of Lowell and Douglas Arcand of Charleston, SC; and several grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews in Greater Lowell and in the Keene, NH area.
