Dorothy Jane "Betsy" Bechtol Brown

Dorothy Jane Bechtol Brown (Betsy), 98, of Dracut Center, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2018. She was the wife of the late Harry Richard Kirkland Brown and predeceased by her daughter Harriet and son Kirkland. Surviving her are three daughters...Kathleen Gomes Cormier, Susan Wallace and husband Donald, Mary Ellen Haigh and husband Robert and Daughter-in-law, Becky Brown. Also survived by her 12 grandchildren...Trysha Gomes Balboni, Jay Gomes, Amanda Gomes Smith, Brian Gomes, Katie Cormier, Christopher Cormier, Rick Cormier, Lee Ann Pimentel Check, Michael Pimentel, Katelyn Brown, Kimberly Brown Bellan, and the youngest... Kourtney Brown, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson.
Dorothy was born in South Bend, Indiana and was a member of Christ Church United in Dracut Center. She was a life-long fan of the Red Sox, enjoyed singing and reciting poetry and she loved her daily Dunkin' Donuts. She was part of the adult education of Dracut where she was directed by Maurice Pepin. She loved her children and enjoyed spending time with all her family. She will be missed beyond words. She is now reunited with Kirk, Harry, Bamie, Harriet, her Mother, Father and Sisters.
There will be a private memorial service for family members.
