Dorothy G. Gendreau

DRACUT- Dorothy G. (Medina) Gendreau, 90 , died peacefully Saturday May 16, 2009 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Willis C. Gendreau who died on September 19, 1968.
Born in Lowell on February 20, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Dora (Berard) Medina.
She was educated in Lowell.
Prior to her retirement she worked as the cafeteria manager at the Englesby Middle School in Dracut.
During her years in Dracut she thoroughly enjoyed her home and garden, collection of dolls, playing cards, watching Red Sox and Patriots games and the company of her many friends.

Mrs. Gendreau is survived by her two sons, Bill Gendreau of Dracut, Richard Gendreau and his wife, Ellen of Westford; four grandchildren, Karen O'Brien of Kissimmee, FL, Kenneth Gendreau of Dracut, Matthew Gendreau of Westford, Laura Gendreau of Somerville; and four great grandchildren.
