Dorothy Y. Dalphond

Dorothy Y. (Morin) Dalphond, 71, beloved wife of Donald Dalphond, died Monday, June 30, 2008, in Lowell, following a brief illness.
Dorothy was born in Lowell on December 6, 1936, a daughter of the late Donat "Dan" and Marie (Ouellette) Morin. She was raised in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School in 1954. She resided in Dracut for many years where she raised her four children and was a communicant of St. Francis Parish. She later retired to Windham, NH and wintered in Largo, FL for several years where she enjoyed an active social life with many friends.
She recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by her family. She enjoyed spending time and many laughs with her sisters. She had a close relationship with her grandchildren and was proud of their many accomplishments.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons and their wives, Norman and Kristen Dalphond of Sandown, NH and Daniel and Diane Dalphond of Dracut; two daughters and their husbands, Lisa and Kip Sternberg and Susan and David Jasmin, all of Methuen; four sisters, Jeannine Dunn and her husband John of Dracut, Lorraine Baroni and her husband Robert of Billerica, Pauline Ralls and her husband Raymond of Lowell and Muriel Maher of Dracut. She also has twelve beloved grandchildren, Corey, Megan and Benjamin Dalphond, of Sandown, NH, Brittany, Chelsea, Tierney and Troy Dalphond, of Dracut, Nicole and Julie Sternberg, and Sarah, Joseph and Katie Jasmin, all of Methuen; also several nieces and nephews.
