Dorothy Charlotte "Dodie" (Boisvert) Blake

July 23, 1965 — February 25, 2022

LOWELL - Dorothy Charlotte "Dodie" (Boisvert) Blake, age 56, a longtime resident of Lowell died peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 at her home following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Steven E. Blake, with whom she would have celebrated 15 years of marriage on September 15th.

She was born in Lowell on July 23, 1965 and was the daughter of Robert Nadeau of Port Richey, FL and the late Dolores G. (Auger) Nadeau and Raymond J. Boisvert, Jr.

Dodie was previously employed by Santoro's Sub Shop and the Acre Sports Pub, as well as being a devoted homemaker.

She lived life to the fullest. She was an avid Boston Bruins fan and enjoyed crocheting, going to concerts, taking pictures of sunrises and sunsets, going to the beach with Steve, and going out with her friends and having a great time. She adored her many cats that she had throughout the years and was very proud of her extensive angel collection. She also collected sports memorabilia and t-shirts and sweatshirts, especially from Laconia, NH. Her greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of her loving family, especially her adoring grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and father, Dodie is survived by her two daughters, Jessyca L. Pereira and her husband Antonio of Hanover and Krystal L. Valkavitch and her partner Alberto Robles of Port Richey, FL; two step children, Krystal J. Blake of Boylston and Steven E. Blake, Jr. of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, Leah, Daniella, Antonio, III, Antonio, Ariana, and Amiyah; her "sister" and best friend for over 40 years, Laurie Dowd and her husband Jim of Lowell; and her two god children, Megan Dowd-Reyes of Chelsea and Kathleen Smith of Port Richey, FL. She also leaves beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends whom she cherished.

She was the sister of the late Allen "Butchie" Mullen.
