Lowell - Doris E. (Denomme) Vieira, 85, a Lowell resident, died Saturday May 21, at a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Americus Vieira who owned Mac's Auto.
She was born in Lowell on June 5, 1919, a daughter of the late Arthur and Annie (Demers) Denomme.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Vieira was employed as an assembler at the former Wang Lab. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Millie and Pete Stalker of Tewksbury, Janet D. Leone of Weymouth, MA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Christine Vieira of Tewksbury and Ronald L. Vieira of Pelham, NH; six grandchildren, Michael and Shelly Stalker, Rickey Vieira, Laurie Smith, Doreen Cormier and Jessica Vieira; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also leanes two sisters-in-law, Lucille Denomme of Lowell and Rose Denomme on MN. She was also the sister of the late Ernest, Hector, Dorothy and Henry Denomme.
