Doris M. Thuillier

Doris M. Thuillier, 85, formerly of Lowell died Wednesday at a local nursing home.
Born in Lowell on September 4, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Marcel Thuillier of Reims Marne, France and the late Aurore (Thellen) Thuillier of Lowell. She attended Lowell Schools and was a communicant of the former St. Louis Church prior to its closing in 2004.
Miss Thuillier went to work in the Boott Mills at age 13 sweeping floors and cleaning machines she was too young to operate. She then worked in several other Lowell mills until she retired at age 62.
She is survived by two brothers and their wives, Kenneth and Dorothy Thuillier of Methuen and G. Melvin and June Thuillier of Wilmington; a sister-in-law, Ellen Thuillier, currently residing at The Atrium in North Chelmsford. She was Aunt to many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind several dear cousins and good friends.
She was the sister of the late Raymond W. Thuillier, great-aunt of the late Kay (Chamberlain) LaFlamme and the late Daniel Thuillier and great- grand aunt to the late Matthew and Nicholas DeLuca.
