LOWELL - Doris M. "Dolly" (Huard) Menard, 72, a Lowell resident, died Friday, May 13, 2005 in Lowell following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Alfred Menard.
Born in Lowell on July 18, 1932, she was a daughter of the late William and Sophie (Minkowski) Huard.
Mrs. Menard was a communicant of St. Margaret Church and enjoyed dancing and bowling.
She is survived by a son, Ken Menard and his wife Mary of Lowell; two daughters, Gloria Bennet and her husband Lyle D. Bennett Jr. of Hudson, NH and Linda Jalbert and her companion Eddy Beaulieu of Salem, NH; five sisters, Claire Laflamme of Dracut, Joanne Guerin of Lowell, Susan Gill and her husband Michael of Lowell, Sally Landry and her husband Armand of North Anson, ME and Joan Johnson of Lowell; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William, Richard and Victoria Huard. She was also the longtime companion of the late Al Garneau.
