Doris M. (Maille) Lemire, 92, a lifelong resident of Lowell, residing in the Centralville section, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at a local healthcare facility surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Roland W. Lemire who passed on March 9, 2001.
Born in Lowell on April 25, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Aurore (Bacon) Maille.
She was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine P. Tevepaugh and her husband Bobby of Lowell; three grandchildren, Darlene Villaras and her husband George of Lowell, Daniel Tevepaugh of Merrimack, NH and David Tevepaugh and his wife Karen of Nashua, NH; six great grandchildren, Eleni and Emily Villaras, both of Lowell, Joshua, Justin, Katlyn and Nicholas Tevepaugh, all of Merrimack, NH; her Godchild, Gerald Maille of Lehigh Acres, FL; a sister-in-law, Rita Maille of Chelmsford; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was the mother of the late Robert R. Lemire who passed in 1967, and sister of the late Margaret Bishop, Mary Beaumont, Arthur, Robert, Edmond, Joseph, Leo and Wilmer Maille.
