Doris "Chou" LaBrecque, of Pelham NH, formally of Lowell, MA passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, May 25, 2015. She was 90.
She was the youngest daughter of the late Denerie and Anna (Major) Ducharme. She is predeceased by her brothers Rudolph "Tuffy", Woodrow "Bibie", Roger, and Harvey "Pete" and her sister Evangeline "Nin" Verville. She is also predeceased by her first husband Arthur LaBrecque, second husband Raymond LaBrecque, and longtime close friend Paul "Butch" Ouellette.
She is survived by her three sons Robert and his wife Paula of Stony Point, NY, Ronald and his wife Dianne of Dracut, MA, and Roger and his partner Shireen of Sun Valley, CA; two grandchildren Jeffrey and his wife Kimberly, and Adam and his partner Erica; four great grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Tia Shay, and Cameron.
Chou graduated Lowell High School and worked as a waitress most of her life, last working at the former Cousin's Bakery & Restaurant in Pelham, NH. She was an avid church goer to St. Patrick's Church in Pelham, NH. Among her interests she loved cats especially tigers, travelling, and children. Chou was a strong-willed woman and had a wonderful personality that made people smile. She always had candy in her pocket to give to children and people whom she met bringing out joyful thanks. She lit up a room with her personality and will forever be missed.
