Doris B. (Gauthier) Giattino

Tyngsboro - Doris B. (Gauthier) Giattino, a Tyngsboro resident, died on Tuesday June 16, 2015 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer. She was 89.

Arthur and Matilda (Robitaille) Gauthier welcomed Doris and her twin sister Agnes into the world on October 2, 1925. Since childhood Doris and her sister did everything together. Where was one, so was the other.

Dot enjoyed the Boston Red Sox, playing cards and vacationing at Salisbury Beach. She was a fun loving person who treasured her family, and looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She and Agnes worked at the SAC Club in Lowell for many years. All of the employees and patrons were their extended family.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Russell and Maureen Giattino of Groton; her grandchildren, Lisa Currier, Marisa Giattino, Philip Giattino, Maxwell Giattino; five great grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Agnes "Dolly" Giattino.
