Doris T. Fortin… age 81, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother
LOWELL – Doris T. (Dubois) Fortin, 81, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston with her loving family by her side.
Born in Dracut on April 4, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Florida (Robitaille) Dubois.
Prior to her retirement, Doris was employed by the M/A Com Corporation.
She was a member of both the Lowell and Dracut Senior Citizens, and was a member of St. Rita Parish.
In her younger years, Mrs. Fortin enjoyed line dancing, sewing and crocheting. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son, Robert R. Fortin of Lowell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel B. and Richard Slater of Scottsdale, AZ and Janice A. and Michael Fortin of Pepperell; two grandchildren, Edward Chaput and his wife Susana and Scott Chaput, all of AZ; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Joseph Chaput, both of AZ; also several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Alfred and Andrew Dubois and Bernadette Bourassa.
