LOWELL- Doris J. (Levesque) Cuipa, 86, a resident of Lowell and former resident of Dracut, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Northwood Rehabiliation and Healthcare Center in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore S. Cuipa.
She was born in Lowell on February 25, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Beatrice (Theriault) Levesque. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Prior to her retirement, Doris was employed for many years as a housekeeper at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. Earlier in her career she was employed for 15 years as a crossing guard for Dracut Public School.
She was a longtime, active parishioner of St. Casimir Polish National Catholic Church in Lowell.
Doris enjoyed going to the beach, especially in Maine and spending time in the company of her loving family. She also loved dogs, especially her dogs Taffy and Brittiany and the many dogs that belonged to her family members.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Erinn Cuipa of Burlington; two daughters, Pauline Riordan of Chelmsford and Sandra Latulippe of Lowell; three grandchildren, Ryan Latulippe, Thomas Ballos, and Shawn Riordan; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Raymond Levesque, George Theriault, and Arthur Levesque.
