Doris R. Anderson

Doris R. (Lafontaine) Anderson, 87, a Dracut resident, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was the beloved wife of Stanley A. Anderson with whom she celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on November 4, 2010.
Born in Lowell on December 13, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Mary (Goulet) Lafontaine.
Mrs. Anderson was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old musicals on TV.
A devoted wife and mother, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
In addition to her husband she leaves three children, Paul Anderson and his wife Janet of NH, Gail Kucharski and her husband John of Billerica and Michael Anderson and his wife Elizabeth of Dracut; a sister, Pearl Rivard of Pelham, NH; a brother, Roland Lafontaine of Salem, NH; a brother-in-law Charles Andruskiewicz of Westford; a sister-in-law, Helen Nalivaika and her husband Leo of Worcester; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves one of her best friends and roommate, Edith Kearin, from the Fairhaven Nursing Home. She was a sister of the late Harvey and Raymond Lafontaine and Rita Bergeron and mother-in-law of the late Richard Pepin.
