Dora E. Grimard

Lowell - Dora (Descoteaux) Grimard, 89, widow of Alexandre "Tom" Grimard, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Tuesday March 14, 2006 at a local nursing home.
She was born in Lowell on July 16, 1916, a daughter of the late Albert and Dina (Bergeron) Descoteaux.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Grimard was employed as a weaver for Mohair Plush in Lowell. She was also a communicant of St. Louis de France Church, her hobbies included bowling and knitting; she was also a member of the Centralville Senior Citizen Club and the Lowell Senior Citizen Club.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Albert J. and Aline Grimard of Pelham, NH, Raymond J. and Debbie Grimard of Dracut; a daughter and son in law, Elaine and Henry "Joe" Lizotte of Windham, NH; seven grandchildren, Sharon Wajda, Gary Grimard, Glen Grimard, Gail Hebert, Steven Lizotte, Jeffrey Lizotte and Gregory Lizotte; fifteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William, Phil, Fred, Arthur, Eddie, Alderic "Bebe", Peter and Omer Descoteaux, and Annette Cailler.
