Donna Marie (Garside) Plourde, age 64, entered eternal rest unexpectedly at home on October 28, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Robert Plourde whom she shared 47 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on September 20, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Garside and the late Evelyn (Hand) Easley. She was a lifelong resident of Lowell.
Donna was educated in the Lowell Public Schools. She spent the last 33 years providing home day care for Community Teamwork Inc.
Donna was a peaceful and loving person. She loved being a mother but more importantly being a grandmother. Spending time with Kaylee brought so much joy to her world. She enjoyed her outings with her sister and watching Food TV and Hallmark movies.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son, Robert Plourde and his wife Danielle and granddaughter Kaylee of Dracut.
She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Molina and Ronalee Thatcher, her brothers John, Triny, Mario and Manuel Colon. She had a special relationship with her nephew John Molina and his wife Meredith, her grand-niece Mercedes Molina and her sons, Javien and Zaydrian, Alison Molina and her grand-nephew Corey Molina; As well as her Aunt Mary Harron and many other nieces and nephews.
