Dolores E. (Hebert) Hamel

Dolores E. (Hebert) Hamel, a resident of Pelham, NH , formerly of Dracut, and the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Hamel, died on Friday September 6, 2013 with her family by her side at the age of 81.
Dolores was born in Lowell on June 24, 1932 a daughter of the late Francois and Lorea (Doyon) Hebert.
Prior to her retirement Dolores worked in the cafeteria at the Greenmont Avenue School in Dracut.
Dolores was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizen Club and the Pelham, NH Senior Citizen Club, where she loved to play cards and bingo with many friends. She also enjoyed trips to Foxwoods Resort, but most of all Dolores cherished the time she spent with her family.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Ronald and Cheryl Hamel of Dracut; four daughters and sons in law, Donna and Michael Roark of Dracut, Deborah Albis and her longtime companion Larry Kovalcson of Haverhill, Sandra and Charles Mooradian of Nashua, NH, Linda and Donald Lemire of Pelham, NH with whom she resided; eight grandchildren, Laurie Johnston and her husband Tom, Brian Roark, Kristopher Roark, Steven Roark, Stacey Rodriguez and her husband Margarito, Kerry Perkins and her husband Matt, Tricia Albis, Amanda Perkins and her husband Philip; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters and brothers in law, Claire and Titus Plomaritis of Pelham, NH, Lauria and Paul Couillard of Dracut: sisters in law and brothers in law, Cecile Gagnon of Dracut, Maurice "Bill" and Pauline Hamel of Dracut, Raymond and Joyce "Bev" Hamel of Pelham, NH, Grace Hamel of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Francois "Pete" Hebert, Lucille "Lou" Hebert, and grandmother of the late Jeff Hamel.
