Dolores (Lorenzo) Duquette … Lifelong Lowell resident; 82

LOWELL - Dolores (Lorenzo) Duquette, 82, beloved wife of Adrien "Duke" Duquette, Jr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 27, 1940, in Lowell to Micklean (Lorenzo) Nelson. Dolores attended Lowell Public Schools and lived in Lowell her entire life.

She worked in food service for 20 years at UMass Lowell.

Dolores is survived by her four children, Diana Truitt, Deborah Pelletier, Denise Vega and Derek Duquette and his wife Sandra, all of Lowell; other survivors include 7 grandchildren, Alec Makarewicz and his wife Cindy, Kevin Armijo and his wife Shannon, Michael Vega, Alicia Truitt, Adrien "Duke" Vega, Dean Duquette and Lucy Duquette; one great grandaughter, Natalia Makarewicz; also a brother, Frank Lorenzo and his wife Frances of Dracut,and a sister Mary (Lorenzo) Amato of Lowell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dolores' Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday, April 18th from 3:00 until 7:00pm.
