Dolores C. (Lussier) Dion

Dolores C. (Lussier) Dion, 86, a lifelong Lowell resident died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus following a period of declining health. She was the devoted wife of the late Norman L. Dion, whom she married on November 24, 1949.
Born in Lowell on January 20, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Lucien F. and Lina (Beauchesne) Lussier.
Mrs. Dion was a graduate of St. Louis Parochial School and St. Louis Academy. She was a faithful parishioner of the former St. Louis de France Church.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a secretary for Henry F. Achin Insurance Agency.
Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne Dion of Lowell; her son and daughter-in-law, Norman M. Dion and his wife, Margaret Glanville of New York, NY; a sister, Benita Bragan of Hampstead, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Lucien F. Lussier and his wife, Barbara, of Andover; three sisters-in-law, Doris Dion and Eleanore Dion both of Dracut, Anita Dion of California; and; several nieces and nephews.
