Derek J. Lyons

Derek J. Lyons, 33, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Lowell on May 4, 1981. Son of Guy and Peggy (Ogden) Lyons of Lowell.
Derek was a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School class of 1999. Derek was employed by J & K Cabinets of Wilmington,MA.
He appreciated all varieties of music. Derek lived to laugh and loved to make people smile. He had amazing strength and work ethic. He loved surrounding himself with his family and friends and you could always count on Derek. He will be so missed.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his two sisters, Lindsay A. Lyons and Cheyenna E. Lyons, both of Lowell; Brother in Law, Roger R. Marcotte of Dracut, a niece, Emily R. Brown of Lowell; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many beloved friends. He also leaves his Godmother, Marty Gath of Dunstable, and Godfather the late Reverend Tony Ogden of PA.
