Dennis R. "Bubba" Renaud

Dennis R. “Bubba” Renaud, age 71, a longtime resident of Lowell died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 while vacationing in Lake George, NY. with his longtime companion Dianne T. St. Sauveur by his side.

He was born in Lowell on November 11, 1951, and was a son of the late Maurice and Lorraine (DeGagne) Renaud.  He received his education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. 

Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.  

He always enjoyed sports and played in many softball leagues in his younger days.

Earlier in life Dennis was employed by Sylania for many of years. His love for driving made him decide to drive Uber and Lyft which he enjoyed doing.

In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports and hanging out with friends enjoying a few beers. He and Dianne loved their yearly driving trips to Key West, Vermont and Lake George. They loved going to sporting events; especially Nascar, as well as concerts and Foxwoods.

In addition to his girlfriend and her family, Dennis is survived by his son Nathan C. Renaud and his wife Allyson of Utah, his brother, Mike Renaud and his wife Kathy of Litchfield, NH; his former spouse, Nancy A. Renaud of Chelmsford; and his former sister-in-law Anne-Marie of Lunenberg, a nephew Shawn McHatton of California and many cousins and friends.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dennis’ Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00pm.  His Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel in Chelmsford.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dennis’ name to the charity of one’s choice.
