Dennis J. Longtin

Lowell - Dennis J. Longtin, 73, beloved husband of Claire C. (Ferron) Longtin, a Lowell resident, formerly of Nashua, NH died Sunday November 18, at a local nursing home.
He was born in Bennington, VT, a son of the late Roland and Lucy (Betit) Longtin. Dennis graduated from Sacred Heart Grammar School in Bennington and then Plymouth High School in Plymouth, MA. He was the Plant manager for the former Mystic Mills in Milbury where he worked for 35 years and was the plant manager at the former Suffolk Knitting in Lowell where he worked for 20 years.
He was a member of the Chelmsford Country Club and the Pine Valley Golf Links in Pelham, NH.
Surviving him besides his wife are a son, Richard Longtin of Merrimack, NH; two brothers Edward Longtin of Allentown, PA, John Longtin of NH; three sisters, Adrienne Janny of Northampton, PA, Suzanne Higgins of Chelmsford, Christine Daigneault of Bennington, VT; two sisters in law and a brother in law, Laurette and Kenneth Matuck of Tyngsboro, Jeannette Kerouac of Northbridge; and 21 nieces and nephews. He was also the uncle of the late Michael Daigneault.
