Dennis O. Dube, beloved husband of Gail L. (Hawkins) Dube, a Lowell resident, died unexpectedly at the Lowell General Hospital on Friday October 23, 2015. He was 55.
Born in Lowell on April 5, 1960, a son of the late Emile and Jeanne (Charbonneau) Dube, Dennis was a lifelong resident.
He was educated in Lowell and worked for many years as a laborer for Baker Commodities.
Dennis was a stock car enthusiast, and loved his 1985 red Dodge pickup truck. He enjoyed fishing, visiting flea markets, and watching wrestling on television. A Boston sports enthusiast he cherished watching sports with his grandson. Dennis loved to visit Old Orchard Beach in Maine, and had a passion for food. He enjoyed going out to breakfast with family and friends. A practical joker, Dennis was always playing pranks on his family. Family meant the most to Dennis and he adored the time he spent with them, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving him besides his wife are two daughters and a son in law, April and Joseph Clermont of Hooksett, NH, Mandy Dube of Lowell; two grandchildren, Dennis Carbonneau, Dalilah Carbonneau a brother, Paul Dube of Lowell; three sisters, Carmen Martin, Rose Sylvester, Carol Hawkins all of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mike, Freddie and Leo Dube.
