Delia A. (Ayotte) Aubut, 96, a Lowell resident, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Joseph Leopold Aubut.
Born in Lowell, January 14, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Emma (Chausse) Ayotte.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Aubut was employed as a stitcher for the Lowell Dress Company.
She was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church and held membership in the Lowell Senior Citizens Club and AARP.
Dee loved to play cards, bingo and dining out. She enjoyed spending her summers with her family for 43 years camping at English's campground. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were loved dearly by their Memere. She loved spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed by them.
She leaves two daughters, Rachelle Belletete of Merrimack, NH and Pauline Zurawski and her husband John of Dracut; four sisters, Doris Page and her husband Charles of Dracut, Therese Hall of Lowell, Dolores Leavitt and her husband Harold of FL and Pauline Clemens and her husband William of FL; three grandchildren, Selena Freitas of Lakeville, Jared Zurawski and his wife Nicole of Dracut and Danielle Belletete of Merrimack, NH; three great grandchildren, Heidi and Brian Freitas, both of Lakeville and Evan Zurawski of Dracut; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Lorette Patocke, Joseph Ayotte and Yvonne Beaupre.
