Deborah A. (Plourde) McCabe

LOWELL - Deborah A. (Plourde) McCabe, 60, a longtime resident of Lowell died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at UMass Memorial-HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Bernard C. McCabe, Jr..

She was born in Lowell on September 15, 1957, and was a daughter of the late Alfred and Rolande (Boucher) Plourde. She received her education in Lowell schools.

Deborah was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going to the beach, especially in Florida, drawing and coloring, watching soap operas, and walking her beloved dog, Ringo. However, her greatest joy came from spending time in the company of her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Bernard C. McCabe, III of Lowell; her five grandchildren, Makayla Nickles and her fiancé' Brandon Eno of Dracut, Gabrielle Dalton of Watertown, Dylan Tatro and Morgan McCabe, both of Lowell, and Logan McCabe of Dracut; two brothers, Robert Plourde of Lowell and Ernie Plourde of Dracut; three sisters, Dolly McGillicuddy of Lowell, Doris Worthen and her husband Ben of Vermont, and Rose Hildreth and her husband Charlie of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Jamielee McCabe, who died in 2014, and the sister of the late Alfred, Raymond, Ronnie, and Paul Plourde, Dot Young, Tiger Plourde, and Theresa Maheu.

ARRANGEMENTS - Private Funeral Services were held on Thursday. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell.
