David J. Mendonca, beloved husband of Linda Montbleau, died unexpectedly at his Centralville residence on Friday, February, 24, 2017. He was 51.
Born in Lowell on January 22, 1966, he was a son of the late Clement Mendonca and Claire (Ricard) Mendonca of Lowell who survives him.
David was educated in Lowell and was a 1984 graduate of Bishop Guertin High School, Nashua, NH. For the past 20 years he was employed as a union carpenter for Local 111.
David enjoyed rides on his Harley, annual clambakes at Seabrook, NH and camping with his family. For David, family was everything. He loved being around them. He looked forward to Sunday dinner at his parents and his Mom's pork roast, followed by his famous nap.
Surviving David besides his mom Claire and his wife Linda, with whom he's spent the past 32 years with are their three children, Amanda, Jonathan, and Anthony Mendonca, all of Lowell; his nephew and niece, Jared and Nichole Mendonca; a grandniece Rhea Mendonca; his trusty sidekick Taz; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. David was predeceased by his brother John Mendonca who died in 2005.
