David B. Lessard, 55, a lifelong Lowell resident, died Saturday July 6, 2013 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington after a brave battle with a long term illness.
Born in Lowell on November 14, 1957, he was a son of Therese M. (Marchand) Lessard of Lowell and the late Robert A. Lessard.
Dave worked at both Dana Wallboard Supply, Inc. and Courier Citizen Corporation.
In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Derek Lessard of Lowell, David B. Lessard, Jr. of Chelmsford; three daughters, Amy Lessard of Lowell, Angela Lessard of Lowell, Jennifer Lessard of Woburn; two brothers, Raymond Lessard and his wife, Mary of Dracut, Ronald Lessard of Lowell; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Murphy and her husband, Noel of Lowell, Theresa Lessard of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Victoria and Jason Mosignore, Devon Lessard Archambault and Robert Maina; his former spouse, Brenda Gordon and her husband, Dana Gordon of Lowell; several close friends including, Kate Lessard, Suzanne Lessard, Mike Jordan, Kenny Ducharme and Kevin Longtin; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Richard "Midget" Lessard and Norman Lessard.
