David Freeman

LOWELL - David Freeman, Sr., 70, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Monday afternoon, June 18, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Constance "Connie" (Barnhart)Freeman.
Born in Athens, GA on May 1, 1937, he was a son of the late Thomas Freeman and Jewel Mae (Birch) Freeman of Kings Mountain, NC who survives him.
Mr. Freeman attended Middlesex Community College and was a great story teller.
He had previously worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five sons, David Freeman, Jr. and his wife Shirley of Charlotte, NC, Mark Morrissette of Lowell, Venice Freeman of Charlotte, NC, Michael Morrissette of Lowell and Jason White of Lowell; two daughters, Audrey Dixon and her husband Corey of Charlotte, NC and Donna Tibbetts of Nashua, NH; three brothers, W.A. Freeman of Detroit, MI, Louis Freeman and his wife Geraldine and Bobby Freeman, all of Charlotte, NC; four sisters, Martha Louise McGill, Geneva Rickenbacker, Catherine Wilson and Annie Freeman, all of NC; 15 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. He was a brother of the late Johnny Freeman, Willie Freeman, Tommy Richard Freeman and Bennie Freeman.
