David E. Dubreuil, husband of Lillian C. (Racette) Dubreuil died at his Lowell residence on Monday, February 6, 2017, following a brief illness. He was 74.
He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on December 8, 1942, a son of the late Edward and Marie Jeanne (Robillard) Dubreuil.
David retired after 35 years of service to the Raytheon Corporation. He was proud to have been part of the team that worked on the space shuttle.
David enjoyed the local sports teams, especially the New England Patriot and Boston Bruins. and avid hunter and fisherman, he would hunt of fish whenever he was able. He particularly enjoyed fishing at Massapoag Pond in Dunstable, where he would take his children and grandchildren. David also held membership in the National Rifle Association.
He and Lillian enjoyed many years of camping in Laconia, NH. David loved the White Mountains and made it a point to stop at the Old Man of the Mountain whenever he visited.
Surviving him besides his wife of 55 years are his children and their spouses, Lorraine and Roger Provost of Hudson, NH, Edward Dubreuil and Cathy Creegan of Lowell, Michelle and Carlos Alicea of Haverhill, Jennifer Dubreuil of Lowell; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters and brother and spouses, Dianne and Herbert O'Connor of Westminster, Elaine and Larry Martone, Denise and Norman Aubin, Daniel Dubreuil all of Pelham, NH; an uncle, Adelard Dubreuil of CT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
