David E. Boulard

David E. Boulard, 70, a resident of Litchfield, New Hampshire, died peacefully Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was the beloved husband of the late Kelly E. (Smith) Boulard, until her passing in 2017.

He was born in Lowell on April 4, 1956, and was the son of the late Patricia (Richard) and Robert Boulard. He received his education in Tyngsboro schools and was a graduate of Tyngsboro High School.

David was employed for several years as an engineer for local government agencies.

He had a great love for all things outdoors, especially camping, boating, fly fishing and snowmobiling. Flower gardening was among his greatest joys, along with his dogs that he cherished, and the competitive edge he found when it came to a good game of backgammon.

David is survived by his siblings, Barbara Alexa and her husband, Bruce of North Carolina, Richard Boulard of Tyngsboro, Daniel Boulard of Litchfield, NH, Doreen Shipley of Litchfield, NH, Carol Burns and her husband, Kevin of Tyngsboro and Tricia Riel and her husband, Warren of Tyngsboro; his brothers-in-law, Richard Smith, Jr. of Pelham, NH and Kevin Smith and his companion, Sandra Landguth of Lowell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Ronald and Steven Boulard.

Relatives and friends are invited to David’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 9 until 11 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. His funeral service will be celebrated immediately following in the funeral home at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro.
