Darlene F. LaDuke

DRACUT - Darlene F. LaDuke, age 55, a longtime resident of Dracut died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln following a courageous battle with leukemia.

She was born in Lowell on December 9, 1962, and was a daughter of Roy LaDuke and his wife Eileen of Dracut and the late Nancy (Foster) (LaDuke) (Boland) St. Croix. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. She earned an Associate's Degree in Business from UMass Lowell.

Prior to her illness, Darlene was employed for many years as a nurse at Cedar View Rehabilitation Center in Methuen. Prior to that she was employed as a nurse for the Massachusetts Correctional Institutions. Earlier in life, she was employed for many years as a product and distribution planner at 3M in Methuen.

She was a longtime member of Club Fleur De Lis in Tyngsboro.

In her free time Darlene enjoyed listening to live music and going to concerts.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her son Justin LaDuke of Lawrence; two brothers, David LaDuke and his husband Jeremy of Oklahoma City, OK and Lee Boland of Lowell; two sisters, Melissa Tremblay and her husband Jack of Lowell and Leeann Pfeiffer and her husband Tom of Dracut; several aunts and uncles, including Susan LaDuke and her husband W.N. LaDuke of Dracut; her best friend, Robin Murphy of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Darlene's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM followed by her Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Darlene's memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington DC 20090-8018 or at www.lls.org.
