Daniel E. Chouinard, 59, a resident of Lowell, formerly of Worcester, died unexpectedly Wednesday September 5, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Lowell on June 28, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Isabelle (LeFebvre) Chouinard.
Mr. Chouinard was employed as a substance and alcohol abuse counselor for the Gardner State Prison System.
Survivors include a son, Daniel W. Chouinard of Salem; two daughters, Christina Coan and her husband Kenneth E. of Lowell and Monique P. Chouinard of Everett; two sisters, Marlene Vezina of Lowell and Deborah Chouinard of Dracut; three grandchildren, Nick Sawyer of Lowell, and Jordan and Matthew Chouinard both of Salem; an aunt, Claire Shaw of Lowell; his former wife, Mary E. (DeAmicis) Chouinard of Chelmsford; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was the brother of the late Sandra B. Kiernan
