DRACUT - Cynthia L. (LaDuke) Spinney, 58, a resident of Dracut died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Northwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lowell following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Lowell on September 17, 1958, and is a daughter of Wilbur LaDuke of Dracut and the late Barbara A. (McDermott) Ortolani. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Prior to her illness, Cynthia was employed in the deli department of Hannafords in Dracut for many years.
She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell.
In her free time, Cynthia was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the beach and spending time in the arcades. She also enjoyed spending time with friends at the Boathouse in Dracut, but above all she cherished time spent in the company of her loving family.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her son and daughter, Leonard H. Spinney, III and Sheridan C. Spinney, both of Lowell; her granddaughter, Pyper Jayne Thomas; her three brothers, Christopher Ortolani and his wife Ellen of Billerica, Tony Ortolani, an his wife Michelle of Jacksonville, FL, and Keith Ortolani and his fiancé, Jill Davis of Lowell; her two sisters, Barbara Gibson of Dracut and LouAnne Diamond of Tyngsboro, and many nieces and nephews.
