Cynthia "Cindy" Langton

September 16, 1947 — October 28, 2018

PELHAM, NH - Cynthia "Cindy" (Callahan) Langton, 71 formerly of Dracut, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at her home in Pelham, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Roger Langton who passed on November 10, 2005.
Born in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Lillian M. (Murphy) Callahan.
Cindy was a graduate of Dracut High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Salem State University. She was employed by the Tyngsboro Public Schools as a Business Education teacher until her retirement.
She was a founding member of the Lowell YMCA family and was a racquetball enthusiast.
Cindy enjoyed hosting family holidays and other family functions, and was known affectionately as Auntie C. by her beloved nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her siblings and their children: sister, Elizabeth A Silva of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and her children, Anthony Silva of FL and Joseph Silva of Ogilvie, MN; brother, Laurence W. Callahan and his wife Judith of Minocqua, WI, and their children, Tamara Crawford and her husband Erik of Stillwater, MN, Michael Callahan and his wife Alison of Linolakes, MN and Deborah White and her husband Jason of Oconomoc, WI; sister, Margaret Rose and her husband Richard of Derry, NH, and their children, Mark Vallante and his wife Christine of Dracut, Lori Vallante of Londonderry, NH and Jodi Vallante of Salisbury; sister, Roberta L. Golden and her husband John of Windham, NH, and their children, Patricia M. Bean and her husband Marc of Londonderry, NH, Thomas A. Golden and his wife Bernadette of Derry, NH, Timothy J. Golden and his wife Brenda of Dracut and Brian G. Golden and his wife Patricia of Derry, NH; sister, Martha P. Callahan of Beverly; grand nieces/nephews, Callahan, Elle and Olivia Crawford of MN, Mackenzie, Brianna and Andrew Callahan of MN, Amanda and Emily Vallante of Dracut, Erica, Lucas and George Notini of Windham, NH, William and Joshua Bean of Londonderry, NH, Bryan and Christian Golden of Manchester, NH, Jacob and Jason Golden of Dracut, Aiden and Gavin Golden of Derry, NH, Logan, Noah and Emerson White of WI; a step daughter, Deborah A. Runcie and her husband William of Melrose, and their daughters, Danielle I and Brianna A. Ayube; a step son, Michael E. Langton and his wife Cynthia of Sebago, ME.
She was predeceased by her brother, Martin J. Callahan, and by two nieces, Robin and Kelly Silva.
LANGTON - Relatives and friends are invited to Cindy's Memorial Visitation on Sunday from 2 until 6 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Her Funeral Service will be offered in the Funeral Home on Monday morning at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cindy's name may be made to: Lowell General Cancer Walk, Team Walk 2018, 295 Varnum Ave. Lowell, MA 01854 or to Circle Home, Inc. 847 Rogers St., Suite 201, Lowell, MA 01852.
