DRACUT - Constance A. "Connie" (Parent) Tropeano, 93, a longtime resident of Dracut died Friday, March 16, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Dominick A. Tropeano, who died in 2004.
She was born in Lowell on February 16, 1925, and was a daughter of the late George and Aurore (Giroux) Parent. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Prior to her retirement, Connie was employed for many years as a hairdresser.
She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church in Dracut and was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens.
Connie was a true foodie and loved to dine out with her husband. She also loved to travel with her husband, especially to Hawaii. However, her greatest joy came from spending time in the company of her loving family.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carol Arsenault and her husband Ernest of Lowell, Janet Hendrickx and her husband Paul of Las Vegas, NV, and Denise Tropeano of Waltham; five grandchildren, Bryan Arsenault and his wife Alicia of Hudson, NH, Nicole Garay and her husband James of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Marchand and his wife Stacy of Las Vegas, NV, Kevin Arsenault and his wife Jhana of Hudson, NH, and Christopher Marchand of Las Vegas, NV; seven great grandchildren, Romeo, Jesika Dominick, Anthony, Elizabeth, Sophia, Paul, Devon, Isabel, Michaela, and Abel; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Bruce Tropeano and the sister of the late Gerald Parent and George Parent.
ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Connie's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 12:00 Noon at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church in Dracut. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Connie's memory to Circle Home, 847 Rogers St, Suite 201, Lowell, MA 01852.
