DRACUT - Constance J. "Connie" (Clermont) (Gaudette) Plante, 81, a longtime resident of Dracut died Monday, June 19, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Raymond J. "Moe" Plante, with whom she would have celebrated her 41st wedding anniversary on June 26th. She was also the wife of the late Rene Andre Gaudette.
She was born in Lowell on April 20, 1936, and was a daughter of the late Noe "Gus" and Agnes Patricia (Lepore) Clermont. She was a graduate of St. Louis Academy in Lowell.
Prior to her retirement, Connie was employed for 10 years as a secretary at the Robinson School in Lowell.
She was a longtime parishioner of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.
Connie was an avid bingo playing and loved to spend time at the beaches of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Her most treasured time was the time she spent in the company of her loving family, especially her adoring grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children, Mark Gaudette and his wife Darlene of Salem, NH, Ricky Gaudette and his fiancé Diane Geoffroy of Dracut, Sandra Gaudette and her husband Denis Holmes of Spokane, WA, and Steven Plante of Dracut; seven grandchildren, Melissa Kazilowski and her husband Eric of Dracut, Joshua Keifer and his wife Jamie of Spring Arbor, MI, Kara Bowles and her husband Jason of Salem, NH, Zachary Keifer of Spokane, WA, Liam Smith of Spokane, WA, Olivia Plante of Manchester, NH, and Matthew Plante of Manchester, NH; three great grandchildren, Olivia Keifer, Ashley Kazilowski, and Brooklyn Bowles; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Raymond Clermont, Ronald Clermont, and Maryann Belleau.
