LOWELL - Constance L. (Emond) Mercier, 79, a resident of Roger's Hall in Lowell, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Arthur A. Mercier.
Born in Lowell on August 19, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Andre and Emma (Plouffe) Emond.
Prior to her retirement, Constance worked at the City of Lowell Career Center as a Career Advisor.
She was a member of Christ Church United in Dracut and enjoyed playing bingo.
While living at Roger's Hall, she participated in many of the gatherings and functions available to the residents.
Constance is survived by four children, Normand R. Mercier of Pelham, NH, Susan G. Mercier, Diane E. Mercier and Brian G. Mercier, all of Lowell; a sister, Anne Fuller and her husband Dale of Hudson, NH; a brother, Richard Emond of Haverhill; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Alan H. Mercier, sister of the late Michael Emond and companion of the late Thomas Lacaillade.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Life Celebration on Wednesday from 3 until 7 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. In accordance with health requirements, face coverings are required. Funeral Services will be private.
