Constance R. L'Heureux

August 15, 1941 — July 6, 2009

Constance R. (Coutu) L'Heureux, 67, a lifelong Dracut resident, died Monday July 6, 2009 at her Dracut residence surrounded by her loving family. Constance fought, until the very end, a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the wife of the late Jean-Guy "Lash" L'Heureux.

Born in Dracut on August 15, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Leona (Pare') Coutu.

For the past thirty years, Constance has dedicated her life to being an amazing and devoted caregiver to her daughter, Debbie, who has special needs.

When she was not caring for Debbie, Connie took some time to enjoy going to Foxwoods and playing bingo in the local area. She had two dear companions, Baby and Tiny, her precious peek-a-poo puppies, that she loved very much.

Many of her friends and family will remember her as having a "heart of gold." She was always available to anyone who needed her and had a tendency to put others needs before her own. Her kindness and generosity will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two sons, David J. L'Heureux and his companion, Joanne of Pittsburg, NH, Daniel M. L'Heureux and his wife RayAnn of Dracut; two daughters, Denise L'Heureux and Deborah L'Heureux both of Dracut; three grandchildren; Michael Devaney, Taylor L'Heureux and Raychel L'Heureux; a brother, Maurice Coutu and his wife, Pearl of Derby, VT; two sisters, Lorraine Gagnon and her husband, Al "Chubby" of Dracut, Denise Clark of Dracut; a brother in law, Maurice Anctil of Nashua; many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Roland and Norman Coutu.
