Colleen Lee Montalvo

Colleen Lee Montalvo, age 54, a resident of Worcester died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center in Nashua, NH.  

She was born in Worcester on December 27, 1968, and was the daughter of the late Wilson Montalvo and Susan Nowalski.  She received her education in Worcester schools.

As a teenager Colleen was Ms. Port. Charolette, in Florida. She loved fashion, perfume, shopping & getting all dolled up.

With the help of love and support from her family at Place of Promise, Colleen turned her life to Jesus Christ.  

A great sense of accomplishment for Colleen was when she earned her Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and became a truck driver, which made those in her life very proud, especially her daughter. 

She is now at rest, singing with her mommy.

She is survived by her daughter, Alexis M. Montalvo of Worcester; her life partner Laurie Tully; her step father, Felix Mullin of Worcester; two brothers Mark Montalvo of Webster and Steven Flores of Puerto Rico; her sister Marisol Flores of Worcester; her two nephews, Edwin Cruz and Alex Montalvo; her special aunts and uncles; her special cousins, Renee and Maggie; and her family at Place of Promise in Lowell.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Colleen’s visitation at the Fusion Church, 125 Mt. Hope Street, Lowell on Friday, February 24th from 6:00 until 7:00pm.  Her Funeral Service will be at 7:00pm followed by refreshments.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for her on Monday, February 27th at 11:00am at St. John Church, 44 Temple Street in Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Colleen’s memory to the Place of Promise, P.O. Box 1132, Lowell, MA 01853.
