Claudette Frances Lambert, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 following a period of declining health. She was 89.
Claudette was born in Lowell on March 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Gerard D. and Blanche M. (Thellen) Lambert.
She attended the former St. Louis Grammar School and graduated from the former St. Louis Academy, and attended Middlesex Community College.
Claudette worked in the payroll department for several companies in Lowell, including the former Prince Macaroni and the former Hub Hosiery.
She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish and the former St. Louis de France Parish where she also cooked for the priests at both parishes.
Claudette was an accomplished artist and painted several works of art. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and board games.
Claudette is survived by her three sisters, Marguerite Lambert of Lowell, Yolande Bousquet of Abington, and Estelle Lambert of Tewksbury; two nieces Michelle Lambert of Chelmsford, Jacqueline Smith of Hudson, NH; and a nephew John Lambert of North Carolina. She was predeceased by sister Pauline Bernier, brother Gerard R. Lambert, sister in law Jean Lambert, brothers in law Real Bernier, and Roland Bousquet.
Relatives and friends are invited to Claudette's Life Celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street on Wednesday from 1:00PM to 2:00 PM. Committal Prayers will follow at 2:30 at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel.
