Claire D. Smith

BALTIMORE, MD - Claire D. (Crevier) Smith, 54, of Baltimore Maryland, formerly of Lowell and Dracut, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Bay View Medical Center in Baltimore, MD while she battled cancer courageously.
She was born in Lowell on November 19, 1954 a daughter of the late Donald G. and Theresa A. (Roy) Crevier. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffery S. Smith, of Dracut with whom she was married on April 13, 1997.
Beside her husband, she is survived by her two children and 4 beloved grandchildren; Robert Clegg Jr. "Robby" and his wife Kerri (Hernandez) of Lowell, their children Amanda, Robert III "RJ" and Courtney Clegg. Her other child, Tanya (Clegg) Day and her husband Christopher Day Sr. of Baltimore, MD, and their child Christopher Day Jr. "CJ". Mrs. Smith also had two step children, Kimberly Smith and Stephen Smith, both of New Hampshire.
She also leaves her two sisters. Anita C. Mudge and her husband Edward of Baltimore, MD and Irene C. LaMarche and her husband Robert of Lowell. She is also the sister of the late Marie Finno, Donald G. Crevier Jr. and Donald Crevier. She was the daughter in law of the late Guy and Genevieve Smith.
Mrs. Smith is also survived by her brother in law, Barry Finno of Lawrence; her brothers and sisters in law, Edward Smith and his wife Debbie and Frances Zannoni and her husband Dennis, all of Dracut, Gail Whitney and her husband Russell of Windham, NH.; lifetime friend of 30 years, Robert Orr of Lowell and friends Carol and Denise Byzcynski of Baltimore, MD.
She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Claire Smith was an avid bowler, loved to travel, shop and crochet. However, what she looked forward to the most was being surrounded by her loving grandchildren.
