Claire G. (Chouinard) Shaw

LOWELL - Claire G. (Chouinard) Shaw, 86, a Lowell resident, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lowell on January 10, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Grace (Quirion) Chouinard.
Claire had been employed as a nursing assistant at D'Youville Senior Care prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Lowell Senior Citizens.
She leaves two daughters, Tracie Minton and Bonnie Finley, both of Lowell; five grandchildren, Dannielle Kranz and her husband Robert, Richard Minton, Rebecca Minton, Chantel Finley and Carl "C.J." Finley; two great grandchildren, Rainne and Brayten Kranz; her former husband and friend, James A. Shaw and his children, Julia, James, John, Joseph and Jaime Shaw; also many nieces and nephews. She leaves a lifelong dear friend, Celine Roy of Dracut. Claire was predeceased by her son, Roland "Rocky" Shaw, brothers and sister, Edward J. "Blackie", Paul, Robert, Alphonse, Armand, Roland and Reginald Chouinard and Aline Jette.
SERVICES - Committal Services for Claire will be offered on Monday morning, November 19, at 11 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
