Claire C. (Ferron) Longtin, 70, a Lowell resident, formerly of Nashua, NH, died Saturday July 11, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was the widow of the late Dennis J. Longtin.
Born in Lowell on January 17, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Jeannette (Marchand) Ferron.
She retired after many years as a special education teacher at the Robinson School in Lowell.
She loved to go to the beach and enjoyed spending winters in Florida.
Survivors include a son, Richard Longtin of Merrimack, NH; two sisters, Laurette Matuck and her husband, Kenneth of Tyngsboro and Jeannette Kerouac of Northbridge; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
