LOWELL - Cheryl L. (Cosma) Calvin died peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Care Dimensions in Lincoln, MA.
Cheryl was born on January 25, 1947, daughter of Edna M. (Young) and George Cosma in Youngstown, Ohio. She spent one 'annual day of gardening' at her home on the Portage Lakes in Ohio where she planted large flower boxes that bloomed profusely the rest of the summer. Cheryl loved hosting dinner parties and family picnics which she planned with skill and care from 'soup to nuts' so all her guests would enjoy every moment.
Cheryl is survived by her sister, Janice, and her husband, Patrick McCabe of Lowell, and her nieces, Mary Elizabeth, Amanda, and Maureen and their families. She is survived by her good friend, Diane Schmitz of Medina, Ohio. She has many cousins including Rick and Renee Thomas of St. Petersburg, FL.
Cheryl was predeceased by her beloved sister Susie in 1996.
