DERRY, NH - Charles A. "Charlie" DiPerri, 91, a resident of Derry, NH for the past several years, passed away on Monday evening, March 6, 2017 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH. He was the husband of the late Mary P. (Ventresca) DiPerri.
Born in Boston, on November 10, 1925, he was a son of the late Cologero and Vincenza (Trippi) DiPerri.
Following High School, Charlie enlisted with the United States Army Air Force, serving during World War II and Korea.
He was employed by the Stone & Webster Corp. of Boston as a draftsman until his retirement in 1989.
A resident of East Boston for many years, Mr. DiPerri relocated to Southern New Hampshire in the early 1970's and has resided there ever since. Charlie was an avid barbershop singer and his love of music was spread through his volunteer work at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center.
He was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Derry, NH.
Charlie leaves five children, Stephen DiPerri and his wife Kristin of Raynham, MA, Bernadette Terenzi of Londonderry, NH, Kenneth DiPerri and his wife Carolyn of Sandown, NH, Charles "Chuck" DiPerri and his wife Susan of Kingston, NH and David DiPerri and Lindsy of Exeter, NH; seven grandchildren, Kira, Craig, Andrew, Anthony, Steven, Kyle and Ventresca; two great granddaughters, Avary and Piper; a sister, Ellie Brown of East Boston. He was predeceased by four siblings, Rose Abate, Mary Abate, John DiPerri and Phyllis Jalbert.
