Charles R. Courchaine

March 8, 1932 — January 29, 2007

Dracut- Charles R. Courchaine, Sr., 74, a Dracut resident and veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the Marine Corps for four years, husband of Theresa L. (Beaupre) Courchaine, with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage on November 12, died Monday January 29, 2007 at a local nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Westford on March 8, 1932, he was a son of the late Fred L. and Diana (Labbe) Courchaine
Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Courier Citizen for 34 years and member of the printers union there. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Courier Citizen Bowling League, and fishing at Silver Lake in Chelmsford.
Surviving him besides his wife are two sons, Charles R. Courchaine, Jr. of Dracut and Russell A. Courchaine of Tamworth, NH; four grandchildren, Jennifer Courchaine, Daniel Rygiel, Russell Courchaine and Duante Morall; two great-grandchildren Chelsea Monmarquette and William Guptil Jr; five brothers, Arthur Courchaine and Robert Courchaine both of Lowell, Leo Courchaine residing in California, Kenny Courchaine residing in Virginia and Raymond Courchaine residing in Florida; four sisters; Olive Brown of North Chelmsford, Delores Berloove , Katherine Boule both of Nashua, NH ,Valerie Shea residing in NH; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also the brother of the late Gerald Courchaine and Roland A. Courchaine who died in Siapan, during WWII, and father in law of the late Emma L. Courchaine.
